GCL Group are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for their client, a family owned Mechanical & Electrical Contractor.
This job will be mainly office based in Omagh, Tyrone with some travel to sites as required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Estimating Department.
- Ensure projects are tendered effectively under time constraints.
- Liaise with Contract Managers and Procurement Team.
- Conduct site visits if needed to ascertain tender requirements.
- Working on a range of electrical engineering projects across Ireland & UK.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Electrician or hold a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working in a similar role in the UK/Ireland.
- Experience using estimating and costing systems.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit
