GCL Group is currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for their client, a top tier Main Building Contractor. This is a permanent position and will be based in Limerick and will suit anyone commutable distance from Cork, Tipperary, Clare or Galway.
Responsibilities include:
- Quantify construction works at various stages of the project, e.g. tender stage, bill of quantities, valuations, change orders and final account.
- Risk management and Cost control.
- Value completed work and arrange payments.
- Completion of Financial Reports.
- Review and approve selected contractors/suppliers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- 4+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Proven experience working for a Main Contractor on a range of building projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
