Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and contracts.
- Measure and quantify materials and labor required for projects and assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractor services.
- Prepare and review bill of quantities (BOQ).
- Manage valuations, variations and claims.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of materials.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- 2-5 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of working on civil projects a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
