We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the development of a 100-unit residential housing project in Laois.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing similar residential projects and will be positioned to rapidly advance to a Contracts Manager role with a similar sized development commencing in Kildare in the coming months.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all construction activities adhere to project timelines, health & safety regulations, quality and environmental guidelines.
  • Ensure strict compliance to approved Planning Permissions and Building Regulations.
  • Supervise the entire product lifecycle from inception to aftersales.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors and design teams to drive performance.
  • Oversee the project's financial aspects in collaboration with the commercial team, ensuring value creation, effective cost control, and maximizing project profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including statutory authorities, and local communities.
  • Provide leadership and management to the construction team.
  • Promote a positive culture and engagement within the project team.
  • Implement best practices in project controls, performance management, and reporting.
  • Foster a proactive approach to safety and quality management.
  • Ensure accurate and transparent reporting and forecasting.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on similar residential developments.
  • Strong understanding of Planning Permission, Building Regulations, and Health & Safety standards.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
  • Effective relationship management skills
  • Ability to implement best practices in project management, reporting, and performance controls.
  • Proficiency in embracing innovative building systems and technology.
