GCL Group are currently hiring a Quantity Surveyor for a Civil Engineering company on a part-time basis. This role may be best suited to someone who is self-employed and looking to add another client to their portfolio.
This position is for 2-3 days per week and will involve site visits in the Leinster area as required.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly variations, valuations, and final accounts.
- Monitor and tracking of project costs from inception to completion.
- Working on contractual claims, subcontractor procurement and accounts settlement.
- Be involved, when required, in the preparation of tenders for new works.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with the ability to manage the commercial aspects of projects using your initiative.
- Experience working for a Civil Engineering company working on groundworks and civil projects.
