GCL Group are currently seeking a Junior Estimator for their client, a well-established and growing Main Contractor.
This role will be office based in Limerick.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting proposals, specifications, quotes etc. to produce tenders.
- Liaising and agreeing budgets with project and commercial teams.
- Check pricing documents and identify any deficits.
- Acquire quotes from suppliers, subcontractors etc.
Requirements:
- Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role with a Main Contractor preferably, although other areas of construction will be considered (College placements will also be considered).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
