GCL Group are currently seeking a Fleet Manager for their client, a long-established Mechanical & Electrical Contractor.
This job will be office based in Monaghan and working hours are 8.30-5 Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain records for every company vehicle.
- Collect, analyse and manage fuel consumption recorded against completed mileage.
- Complete detailed plans of action for unexpected scenarios, e.g., vehicle breakdowns.
- Manage and schedule vehicle servicing/repairs.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience working as a Fleet/Transport Manager
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanical repairs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to ‘think on your feet.’
- Strong computer skills, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite.
