GCL Group are currently seeking an experienced Estimator for their client, a well-established and growing Main Contractor with a great reputation in the market.
This role will be based in Limerick.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting proposals, specifications, quotes etc. to produce tenders.
- Liaising and agreeing budgets with project and commercial teams.
- Check pricing documents and identify any deficits.
- Acquire quotes from suppliers, subcontractors etc.
Requirements:
- Third level qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with a Main Contractor preferably, although other areas of construction will be considered.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
