GCL Group are currently hiring a Civil Estimator for a Civil Engineering company based in the Midlands.
Responsibilities:
- Submit competitive tenders/pre-qualifications and liaise with wider team on larger tenders.
- Procure subcontractor and supplier quotations and price works.
- Prepare method statements, programmes and other commercial documents.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role in Ireland or the UK.
- Experience working on civil projects
- Reading and understanding contracts, specifications, drawings, scopes of work and other tender documents is essential.
- Strong ICT Skills including MS Project.
